Hypnos the great entering the stage
Covering my eyes with blackest coat
Breathless I sink into cruel sleep
Tightening its straps round my throat
Unbearable burden rests on my chest
I drift away
Into the night

All life has frozen
Pain is all that ́s left
Senseless war surrounds me
I can ́t see dark nor light

Will time heal?
Will it allay the pain in me?
A place not cold nor warm
All misty twilight

Cruel nightmares
Are haunting
So deep in me

And fire fading
Despair growing
Darkness rising
Into the realm of sleep

Am I awake or do I sleep?
Invisible claws pierce my flesh

All life just seems sorrow
Pure darkness pounding within
They say that time would heal
But it just teaches to deal

Deep into the yonder I ride
Approaching my certain end
On into my death I ride
Come shelter by decline

Cruel nightmares

Into the realm of sleep

Hypnos calls for me!

Dying trees on rotting soil
Purgatory dawn
In these forsaken lands
